There’s a Snake in My Boot

01.23.19Fashion0

I have gotten a million questions on my snakeskin booties that I have been constantly wearing. I think Mitchell hit the jackpot when he gave me them for Christmas this year. I have been constantly looking for a pair that had a block heel, pointed toe, not too tall of a heel so I could wear them for hours, and the right shade of snakeskin. Mitchell took it upon himself to try to find the perfect pair, a very challenging task if you ask me. But low and behold he did it!

Steve Madden never disappoints. About 80% of the shoes I own are Steve Madden. They are great quality, don’t break the bank, and they are so stinkin’ cute. So it was no surprise when I unwrapped a Steve Madden box and these beauties were all cuddled up in there. I was over the moon that he found the perfect snakeskin boots that I have been on a hunt for. I have linked a few different Steven Madden snakeskin booties here, here, here, and here.

These boots are great for so many reasons, and would recommend them 100%. They check all of the boxes that I wanted: great height so I can wear with cropped jeans, pointed toe, and a short block heel. I am not lying when I say these are so comfy I could almost run a few miles in them. I have walked all around New Orleans in these booties, and not once did they hurt or get sore. It also took zero time to break them in. The first time I wore them it caused no blisters or discomfort.

I have been wearing these booties on repeat, no matter the occasion. Dressed up for a night out, date night, playing tourist in my own city and exploring the French Quarter, and I’ve even wore them to the grocery store. They are fitting for wherever you are going. They add the perfect amount of sass to any outfit. I paired it here with a super cozy pink sweater and gray ripped jeans to add some edge to my look. One of my other favorite looks to wear with these booties is with a LBD. It takes such a staple piece and adds some extra flair to it. Also for someone who is deathly afraid of snakes, snakeskin was one of those trends I was a little weary about. However adding the print to my footwear was the perfect compromise for me, while still staying true to my style.

So if you were like me and on the hunt for the perfect snakeskin bootie, look no more. Your search can be over and just head over to Steve Madden and pick up these booties.
