I had the wonderful opportunity to play dress up and do some summer styling with Kathleen and Keegan Millinery. It was so fun to model with a few of my girlfriends! Combined I think we shot over 100 fascinators, crowns, and hats!
Kathleen and Keegan Millinery is a luxury hat-maker based in the United States specializing in elegant headpieces. All of their designs are one of a kind and hand sculpted and made using the highest quality materials that have been collected from around the world.
Kathleen and Keegan will be making my fascinators for this year’s Kentucky Oaks and Derby. I CANNOT WAIT for my headpieces for horse racing’s biggest events of the year. I will be sure to take you all along for the ride as we get closer to September.

The Demi
This piece just screams Kentucky Oaks. The two tone pink is so special. You know me the more pink the better! This fascinator features pink abaca silk and baby pink veiling. If you are looking for a smaller piece that is still elegant, this would be for you.
The Bridget
My favorite fascinator I got to wear this day was the Bridget. This pink sinamay beret features a bow, feather, and 3-D flower embellishment. I love how sassy it is, and again can’t go wrong with pink. It made me feel like the Kentucky Derby Barbie.
Pink Saucer
For a dramatic “WOW” headpiece, this saucer is for you! Again with the two toned pink detailing. This saucer will turn heads as you walk by!
The Lorelai
This gold double crown headband features a fun and floral design. I love the color combination of the bright red and navy blue. Would be perfect for any Memorial Day or 4th of July racing or add a pop of color to a little white dress, like styled here.
My friend Shelby is in the Becca Button Fascinator and I love the dramatic bow with the black and white contrasts. This chic button fascinator is made from white sinamay, white perforated leather, black leather and black feathers. I love her horse purse too- it is just adorable!
The Chase
The Chase is a beautiful pink parasisal halo crown. Featuring gold leaves and floral embellishments. The details of this crown are what makes it so beautiful. I love the pastel pink color for summer!
The Brigitta
This look was hands down my favorite look of the whole shoot! I surprised myself because I normally tend to stray away from midi length dresses. But I love a straw hat, and as soon as I saw it come together I knew it was too cute! The Brigitta is an elevated summer hat. The design features honeycomb straw and a fun summery scarf with fringe trim. Wear the scarf in a bow or knotted and over your shoulder to the beach or the races.
The Ashley in Black
I rarely wear an all black ensemble, however the Ashley got the job done! This sinamay button fascinator is a Kathleen & Keegan classic. It features a sinamay bow and silk millinery flower. The best part about this piece is that it can recreated in any shade of any color, making the possibilities of this headpiece endless.
The Ellie
The Ellie is a beautiful blue halo crown featuring silver studs. I think the crowns are so pretty! You know I had to pull out the Lily Pulitzer doing a summer styling shoot.
The Emory
The Emory is a beautiful teal halo crown featuring gold and pearl embellishments. The details again of this crown are beautiful. I think something about pearls make any look so classy. This crown does just that!
The Summer
Another straw hat because I am a firm believer that you can never have too many straw hats. I love that the Summer can be dressed up or down. This beautiful boater style hat was hand-blocked. The straw weave features a sisal knot, and the brim is embellished with an ombre of blue feathers. The shades of blue are stunning!
The Willow
I wanted to pack this crown home with me. It is so playful and fun! This beautiful lavender parasisal crown is embellished with captivating flowers and Swarovski crystals making it the perfect summer headpiece. You can style this crown so many ways. It really adds to a simple white dress like styled here.
All of these looks were so beautiful and the headpieces are so well made and even more gorgeous in person. I am excited to see what Kathleen and Keegan will be doing in the future and what amazing headpieces I will wear for the years to come!
