Happy May and happy spring! I am back up north and things are finally starting to get green and the flowers are blooming. Spring is such a wonderful time of year with so many things to look forward too. With holidays, boat days, vacations, weddings, there are so many great things that come with spring. With the exception of allergies, I am excited that it is finally starting to feel like spring. I thought I would share some of my must haves for this spring season fitting for all occasions.
Your go to hat
Your go-to HAT to keep the rays off your face! I definitely have two favorites – my straw hat from Aldo as you’ve probably seen me in a lot lately, and my gray hat from World Market. This hat is now on sale for $10! GUYS seriously I love World Market and find myself shopping there more and more. I have been new to the hat trend because I always felt I didn’t know what to wear with them, how to style them, and if I even looked good in them. Well I took the leap and I am hooked. I am on the search for a white hat for the warmer months and I think this white one from Anthropologie is calling my name.

Pink Lilly Boutique graphic sweaters! Under $35 and perfect for a breezy spring night on the beach or a trip to somewhere still chilly, these sweatshirts are to-die for! I have mine in my cart on their website. They have tons of print options, with the cutest little sayings. You know I love my words. White pants
With Memorial Day coming up just around the corner, it will finally be “acceptable to wear white”, however I do not listen to that rule and I have been rocking white all year long. I searched high and low for the perfect pair of white pants. I stumbled upon a great pair at anthropology and had to pick them up. White pants are a challenge for me because I got a booty and muscular legs. The last thing I feel comfortable in is skin tight white jeans where you can see everything. So after trying on about 25 pairs of white denim I found these pants from Anthropology and I was hooked. They have a relaxed fit, high waisted, and so comfy. These will definitely be on rotation this spring and summer.
Hair accessories
HAIR ACCESSORIES ARE BACK. Yes, the big clips you probably wore in your hair in 5th or 6th grade, the chunky Blair Waldorf headbands? All back in style and I think I am digging it. I feel like I’ve seen these clips and headbands everywhere. I am slowly starting to stock up but a few places that seem to have so many cute ones are Amazon and Urban Outfitters. Also hair scarves and scrunchies are making a strong appearance this season. I am also stocking up on those from Madewell and Prim and Pop Boutique.
Spring fashion is one of my favorite seasons. All of the colors, florals, prints, and lightweight materials make my heart happy. I am excited to tryout and style some of the season’s hottest trends. What trends are you excited to try?
