My Fav Way To Find New Reads

05.18.20Books, Lifestyle4

If you are anything like me during quarantine, you have turned into a book worm. I am averaging a book a week, and I really could not be happier.

One of my resolutions this year was to really get back into reading, and thanks to COVID-19, I have done just that. Here are some book recommendations that I have read during quarantine so far!

There is nothing I love more than diving into a really good book. Staying up late to finish just one more chapter. Sitting out in the sun with a good book, or curled up in a cozy blanket with my chai tea in the morning. But sometimes the problem is finding your next current obsession. There are so many books out there, how can you choose your next read?

Enter Book Of The Month

Book of the Month is a monthly subscription that lets you pick from a curated selection of five books every month. You choose which one you want to read or pick more than one, and skip any month you want. They also have an add-on library, so you can add more books to your box. Since I have just started Book Of The Month, I find myself getting my monthly book plus an Add On because the options are just TOO GOOD!

In this time of social distancing, it’s such a relief to have a much-needed break, delivered straight to my door. Plus, the selections include early releases (read a month or even two before the book is widely available!) and books from emerging authors you won’t want to miss.

Reasons why I am loving Book of the Month!

Expands my reading genres

I am a sucker for a good romantic novel or historical fiction, however, I am challenging myself to get out of those 2 genres of novels. In my last box I got the book “Guest List” by Lucy Foley , which is a thriller and I am so excited to start it. Since Book Of The Month chooses 5 books a month for you to then choose from, there are always different styles and genres. There’s always something for every reader, and if nothing is catching your eye, you can skip that month.

Happy Mail

I am a sucker for happy mail. Whether it is a greeting card, amazon package, I just love getting happy mail. Book Of The Month is just this! It gets me excited to read and crack open my new picks! I have a slight obsession with subscription boxes, but this is one that I will be keeping for the long run.

Early Release Titles

I never really pay much attention to new releases of books, but knowing that a handful of these books each month are early release makes me feel trendy. Especially getting them at a fraction of the price once they hit stores!

Quality of books

I have always dreamed of having a library in my home. I have been a reader my whole life, and have been collecting my favorite novels throughout the years. The books I get sent each month, are such good quality. They are all hardcover, which normally hardcover books are more expensive, so I lean towards paperback. They are good in size too! They just look great on any bookshelf.

I would love to know what books y’all choose each month so we can read together! Would anyone be interested in a book club?
