Holiday Gift Guide: For The Foodie

11.01.21Lifestyle3

Turn on Spotify’s ‘Christmas Classic’ playlist and get cozy. It is time to start holiday shopping!

I take pride in my holiday gift shopping and truly take time to think about each person on my gift. I am not about generic gifts for someone. The best part of the season is seeing that person’s face when you give a special gift. Special doesn’t have to mean expensive however!

This gift guide is for those foodies in your life! Are they always in the kitchen? Do they always know the best spot in town for dinner? This guide is full of fun food related goodies that will make any foodie happy and hungry!

  1. Foodie Dice: Roll the dice and see what’s cooking with this dice set which adds a little *spice to everyday meals. The dice offer protein options, cooking methods, grain/carb selections, herb choices, and bonus ingredients. Four additional dice offer seasonal veggies to spice up your dish. Simply roll and accept your challenge. With over 186,000 possible combinations, this is a foodie’s dream!

2. Guacamole Dip 2 Piece Condiment Server Set: Not only is this guacamole adorable, it will be a crowd pleaser at any party. Who doesn’t love guacamole. My favorite part is the spoon that says “Holy Guacamole”. It’s always five o’guac somewhere!

3. Funny Oven Mitt: These area always an easy yet funny gift for the holidays. I have gotten my mom, friends, and hosts these before. It is a fun way to spice up any kitchen. Some are more crude than others, but it adds some light to the sometimes stressful holidays. They also have dishtowels as well!

4. Avocado Multitool: Cut, pit, and scoop avocados easily with this nifty little tool. A safe alternative to a kitchen knife, it’s all you need to prepare tasty avocados. The 3-in-1 tool features a three-pronged, pit-removing pick, a slightly curved shape for scooping, and a serrated edge to break the skin. It’s any avocado lovers heaven!

5. Cheese markers: Whether they are a foodie or not, mostly everyone loves cheese! Complete any cheese or charcuterie board with these 6 gold cheese markers. They let guests know what to expect in each cheese served: Creamy, Sharp, Hard, Mild, Stinky, and Aged. And they are just cute!

6. Taco holder: Take taco Tuesday up a notch with these taco holders. I am a firm believer of taco Tuesday, and it just got easier to celebrate at home. Long goes the fear of your tacos falling apart. These holds will keep they all together and make you feel like you are at a Mexican restaurant.

7. Ramen Bowl + Chopsticks: Who says takeout can’t be fancy? These will just make someone feel fancy with their thai takeout with these ramen bowls. Personally, Asain is my favorite takeout so these would be super handy to me. Sometimes even foodies even need a night out of the kitchen and to just cozy up on the couch with some takeout.

8. That Cheeseboard Will Change Your Life: Everyone loves a pretty cookbook! The perfect gift for cheese-lovers, this how-to guide shows how to craft the most scrumptious cheese boards for both entertaining and self-care.

9. Pad Thai Cooking Kit – Forget takeout—make your own authentic pad thai at home with this convenient kit. Give the gift of cooking to the foodie in your life. This convenient kit is full of just about everything you’ll need for the spicy, savory, oh-so-delicious dish. You’ll find rice noodles, sauce, and seasonings from an organic farm in Thailand, plus ground peanuts for topping. All you need to supply are your protein of choice and veggies.

10. Himalayan Salt BBQ Plank: This hand-carved platter of Himalayan salt is a multi-tasking tool to spice up any foodie’s culinary life. You can chill it to use as a serving platter for sushi, or heat it over a grill or stovetop to cook your veggies. Cooking on salt gives it a greatly enhanced flavor over that of a frying pan. Did I mention how gorgeous it is too!?
