Holiday Gift Guide: For Mom

11.01.21Lifestyle3

Turn on Spotify’s ‘Christmas Classic’ playlist and get cozy. It is time to start holiday shopping!

I take pride in my holiday gift shopping and truly take time to think about each person on my gift. I am not about generic gifts for someone. The best part of the season is seeing that person’s face when you give a special gift. Special doesn’t have to mean expensive however!

I don’t know why, but moms are always the hardest person to shop for! I feel like they always have everything they need, or it’s just me and want to impress her with my gift giving skills!

I recommend these for any mama, aunt, sister, BFF, or any woman in your life!

Click guide to shop!
  1. Shutterfly photo books: I make my mom these every year, and they are so special. I personally like to make them as a way to look back at the trips we take. She thinks these are amazing and looks forward to them every year! But a photo book doesn’t have to be about travel. It can be about a wedding, childhood memories, a special event, or anything! Shutterfly has so many amazing themes to choose from and make it super simple to personalize.

2. Frozen wine slushee mix: Picture this: a hot summer day in the backyard at mom’s. Only thing you need is a frozen wine slushee! These are perfect for entertaining, or just for fun! Elevate happy hour with these organic mixers. Simply add wine, freeze, and drink up! Choose between rosé, sangria, or strawberry basil lemonade.

3. Ipad/cook book stand: Moms are just amazing in the kitchen. At least my mom is. I am simply learning from the best (besides you grandma!). These handy dandy cookbook stand is perfect to keep her recipes nearby without losing her page. Even better, it fits an iPad as well. So she can pull up that Pinterest recipe and follow along.

4. Home is where my mom is mug: Are you and your mom long distance? Have her think of you while she is enjoying her morning coffee with this darling mug. One side says “Home is where my mom is” and on the other you can chose the two different states you both live in. This is a special gift that will definitely tear at her heart strings.

5. Laneige lip mask: I got this for my mom for Christmas last year, and it has quickly turned into one her for ride or die products. Put this lip mask on before bed, or use it like chapstick like I do and your lips will never feel so moisturized! Especially during the brutal winter months, this is a product I use daily. Give your mom some loving too and pick her up one of these. She will thank you and love you for it!

6. Slate Cheese Board: Who doesn’t love a good charcuterie board? This beautiful hand-shaped board of natural slate show off unique flaked edge, providing the perfect stage for cheeses, charcuterie or appetizers. This modern, sleek board will win mom’s approval hands down!

7. All Shapes of Beauty Apron: Let’s hear it for the girls. I thought this apron was adorable. Sometimes you just have to get something for mom that will make her chuckle. Imagine mom or any lady in your life baking cookies with this boobie apron on!

8. Mashed Potato Bowl: Thankful, blessed, and mashed potato obsessed. This is the perfect serving bowl! This bowl is perfect for the holidays because frankly what holiday is not complete without some mashed potatoes!?

9. Beach Day Paint-by-Number Kit: Do you have a crafty mom or lady in your life? Paint by numbers are becoming crazy popular this year. Not only is it stress reducing and calming, you get to produce your own beautiful masterpiece. I love the beach setting of this one!

10. Oil Diffuser: It must be a mom rule that their house always needs to smell good. This ivory oil infuser will ensure just that. Add some fun holiday themed oils to complete the gift. This is a way better gift than a generic candle in my eyes. Even though you can never have enough candles!
