I have been noticing a lot of new faces over here on BasicallyB, so I thought I would share more about the girl behind the computer screen and Instagram.

I love getting to know y’all through comments or direct messages on social media, so I thought it would be fun to share more about who I am personally. You know I share a lot of fashion, travel, and food – and I think by having a personal connection would be beneficial.

I would love to know if we have something in common, or if you want to know anything else about me please ask away! I try to be an open book and fully transparent.

1. My birthday is March 31, 1995. I am 25 and an Aries!
2. I grew up in Batavia, IL which is a Chicago suburb near Naperville.
3. My favorite Chicago deep dish pizza is Pizzeria Due or Lou Malnatis.
4. I was a competitive cheerleader for 10 years, and then continued on to be a high school cheerleader.
5. I also pole vaulted in high school, but I was NOT GOOD! I gave it my best effort.
6. I attended to Purdue University, where I studied Public Relations and Spanish. Boiler up!
7. I was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority.
8. I am getting married in New Orleans this November to my best friend Mitch. I am so excited for my fairytale wedding!
9. Mitch is a professional thoroughbred jockey, so our lifestyle is pretty crazy! We live in both New Orleans, LA and Louisville, KY and travel all over the place in-between.
10. My favorite movie hands down is “The Little Mermaid”. I am obsessed with mermaids.
11. Speaking of Disney, I am a Disney lover. I have been to Disney World 15 times, know every song, trivia question, and often find myself spending nights watching Disney+.
12. Pink is my favorite color. Pretty much everything I own is pink!
13. My favorite foods are peanut butter, bread, ice cream and seafood.
14. I am left handed.
15. I LOVE to travel. I have been to 20 countries. I want to go everywhere, experience everything, and see the world.
16. I started BasicallyB in January 2019.
17. After college I worked at Starcom in downtown Chicago as a media associate. After Starcom, I went to work as a marketing coordinator at Arlington International Racecourse (where I met Mitch!).
18. I have a little brother, Blake who is 21. He is my only sibling.
19. I have a big Italian family! We love everything pasta, meatballs, drinking and just food in general. Holidays are always a crazy time!
20. I grew up an extremely picky eater. I didn’t even like pizza until I was 18 and I tried it in Venice, Italy. Now I am pizza obsessed and eat it all the time!
21. I enjoy reading. I try to read a book a week. I guess you can call me a bookworm!
22. I am a basic fall girl. I love everything pumpkin. I love fall fashion, fall activities, fall candles, and just fall in general.
23. My happy place is the beach. I have never lived close to a beach in my life, so when I get to go it is a real treat.
24. I am scared of birds, especially geese. I will not go anywhere near them.
25. My first car was a red Volkswagen Beetle with eyelashes on the headlights.
26. I am a beer girl. I love a good blonde ale, pale ale, IPA, or any craft beer. I love trying different breweries around the country!
27. I am kind of a shoe addict. I have over 150 pairs!
28. I am a bargain shopper. I rarely buy anything for full price. I love searching for the best deals and steals.
29. I am a country music fan. Mitch and I always try to see a couple concerts a year, but we will have to wait until 2021 now.
30. I am quirky, laugh at myself, have a big outgoing personality, and always try to make people smile!
