Happy fall y’all! Today is the official first day of fall, and if you couldn’t tell by all the posts on Instagram, I am pretty sure people are pretty happy about the new season. Fall is my favorite, so I am happy it is here! I know all of the PSLs can make me basic but it’s so much more than that, too! It’s chilly mornings snuggled up with a chai tea, it’s early sunsets and foods that stick to ya insides for dinner, it’s s’mores and bonfires and football games… with each new season brings new energy and fresh inspiration. Each season I put together a bucket list that I want to do during those months. I am be bias, but fall may be my favorite bucket list of them all.
Britt’s Fall 2019 Bucket List
- Watch Hocus Pocus 12 times, at least… for those of you who like math that is about 3 times a week until Halloween.
- Visit the local apple orchard and refuse to leave until I have consumed an apple cider slushy, apple cider donuts, have an apple pie to go, and a basket of honey crisp apples.
- Have s’mores by a bonfire… however I don’t think it will be chilly enough in New Orleans to snuggle up and actually use the heat of the fire, but we will try it out.
- Go to the local pumpkin patch and locate the perfect assortment of pumpkins for our front porch.
- Purchase every pumpkin flavored candle I come into contact with from now until Thanksgiving.
- Binge watch all of my favorite Halloween movies. Cue Hocus Pocus, Halloweentown (all of them), and Casper.
- Spend the day baking fall treats – my favorite are pumpkin chocolate chip muffins. Do I foresee a recipe post in the near future?
- Indulge in plenty of autumn hot drinks – PSL, my current favorite pumpkin chia lattes, apple cider, etc…
- Go to a New Orleans Saints game – Who Dat! We travel so much I don’t think I will be able to make it to a Purdue game unfortunately.
- Sip on all of the Oktoberfest and pumpkin beers.
What’s on your todo list this autumn season?
