I am a firm believer to always keep bottle of champagne chilling in your fridge in case she had a reason to celebrate. I love any kind of celebration; big or small. I love any reason to celebrate. That is when I came up with an amazing idea: Champagne Goals.
I love champagne. You can drink a glass of bubbly on an ordinary Tuesday night and feel as though you’re celebrating all that Tuesday night ever was.
Champagne is a celebration of life. It makes you feel special – no matter the occasion.
I decided to adopt the clever custom and take it one step further.
First, I bought several bottles of Veuve Clicquot (my fav bubbly!). Then, I took some sharpies and wrote a goal I wanted to achieve on each one. I am talking big goals! I put them on the wine rack and every time I see my champagne goals I visualize achieving the goal with ease.
Once you achieve that goal, grab some champagne flutes, and pop that bottle and celebrate! I just achieved my first champagne goal and it felt so good to pop that top!
We tend to run right by all these things we’re achieving without commemorating them properly, so if you’ve got some champagne, decorate the bottles as a reminder of the goal and the celebration that follows it!
I think this is a fun way to take time to celebrate the things you accomplish because as adult you still have to give yourself a pat on the back. I already plan on writing out a few more bottles come the new year too!
My Champagne Goals
I started off with 3 bottles of champagne for 3 big goals I want to achieve in the next year.
- Promotion at my job
- 10k followers on Instagram
- Move out of my mom’s house
Like I said above I just achieved my first champagne goal: job promotion! I have only been at my company for 9 months and to achieve a manger position this soon was a huge accomplishment!
When thinking of my champagne goals I wanted to divide them into categories: professional and personal. I thought of the things I want to happen most in my life that would be a big deal to me!
