This thick and creamy chocolate peanut butter banana smoothie is made with just 7 easy ingredients and ready in minutes. A healthy chocolate and peanut butter milkshake for breakfast? Yes please!
If you wake up with a morning sweet tooth, a chocolate smoothie is a great way to curb that sweet craving without digging into a bowl of sugary cereal or pancakes that won’t fill you up with the protein that you need! I have been making this smoothie after my workouts pretty much every day!
Lately, I have been struggling getting enough protein in my diet, so I thought protein smoothies were a great way to add more!
I know that smoothies can get really unhealthy really fast, so I have been experimenting on how to make it healthy but still taste yummy! This smoothie does both of those and keeps me full until lunchtime!
I use my NutriBullet Pro to make my smoothies, but any blender would work just dandy!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 frozen banana (make sure to freeze it without the skin)
- 1 cup oat milk or any milk of choice
- 1 spoonful peanut butter
- 1 spoonful protein powder – I use this one and LOVE IT! They also have a chocolate flavor and PB, so ordering both ASAP!
- 1 TBSP cocoa powder
- 1 TBSP chia seeds
- Ice
DIRECTIONS:
- Add in the ingredients and bend, blend, blend.
Like I said, I love this in the morning for breakfast, or after my workout. Let me know if you guys try out this smoothie and what you think!
