You know what goes great with mornings? Mimosas! I am a biggg mimosa girl and I love myself a holiday themed mimosa. I drank my fair share of apple cider mimosas this fall and excited that I found so many Christmas mimosas I had to share!
All of these mimosa recipes are perfect for your Christmas brunch, cookie exchange, or just any weekend in December! I personally don’t think you need an occasion in order to have a mimosa, so you can definitely find me trying each one of these bubbly drinks!
10 Holiday Mimosas To Try This December
Pomegranate Mimosa
Ingredients
- 1 oz chilled pomegranate juice
- 1/2 oz Cointreau (or other orange-flavored liqueur), optional
- 4 oz Sparkling wine, chilled
- 1 teaspoon pomegranate seeds (for garnish)
- Orange peel (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pour 1 oz pomegranate juice and 1/2 oz Cointreau into a champagne flute or wine stem. (If you like it sweet, add more juice. If you like it less sweet, add less juice.)
- Top glass with sparkling wine. Add pomegranate seeds for garnish and a twist of orange peel.
Cranberry Mimosa
Ingredients
- Cranberry juice cocktail
- Orange liqueur
- Champagne
- Fresh rosemary sprigs and fresh cranberries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Fill champagne flutes 1/3 full with cranberry juice cocktail. Add a splash of orange liqueur. Fill remaining 2/3 of glass with champagne.
- Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs and fresh cranberries, if desired.
Peppermint Bark Mimosa
Ingredients
- 1/4 C. Dark chocolate chips, melted
- 1 candy cane, crushed
- 1 oz. peppermint vodka
- 1 oz. White Crème de Cacao
- 4 oz prosecco
- 1 candy canes, whole
Instructions
- Over low heat in a saucepan melt the dark chocolate chips. Pour melted chocolate onto a small plate.
- In a ziplock bag place the candy cane and crush with a rolling pin. Pour crushed candy canes onto a separate plate.
- Dip rims of champagne flutes first in chocolate, then in crushed candy canes to coat.
- Add half an ounce of peppermint vodka to each glass, then half an ounce of white crème de cacao. Top off the glass with prosecco.
Fresh Cranberry Mimosa
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cranberry juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 thick orange slices
- 6 oz fresh cranberries
- sparkling wine or champagne
Instructions
- Combine juice, sugar, oranges and cranberries in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and press cranberries through a fine sieve or strainer discarding the skins/pulp. Cool completely.
- Place 2-3 tablespoons of cranberry syrup in a champagne flute. Top with bubbly and garnish as desired.
- Stir well before serving.
Drunk Frosty Mimosa
Ingredients
- 1 slice lemon
- 2 tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1/4 c. blue Curaçao, divided
- 1 bottle Champagne or Prosecco
- 2 c. lemonade, divided
Instructions
- Place sugar on a small shallow plate. Rim each champagne flute with lemon wedge and dip in sugar.
- Divide blue curacao evenly between each glass.
- Fill halfway with bubbly, then top with lemonade.
Vanilla Cranberry Mimosa
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 ounces of vanilla flavored vodka
- 1 1/2 ounces of cranberry juice
- sparkling wine (champagne, prosecco, cava)
- fresh cranberries (garnish)
- whole vanilla beans (garnish)
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the vanilla vodka, cranberry juice and ice. Shake vigorously, then strain into a champagne flute. Fill the glass to the top with sparkling wine. Garnish if desired.
Pear Mimosa
Ingredients
- 3/4 c. pear nectar
- 1 bottle champagne
- Pear slices, for garnish
Instructions
- In champagne flutes, add pear nectar and top off with champagne.
- Garnish with pear slices.
White Cranberry Mimosa
Ingredients
- White Cranberry juice cocktail
- Champagne
- Fresh rosemary sprigs and fresh cranberries for garnish (optional)

Christmas Mimosa
Ingredients
- Champagne
- 1 oz Cran-Raspberry juice
- 1 oz grapefruit juice
- Fresh or frozen raspberries
Instructions
- Pour Cran-raspberry and grapefruit juice into champagne flute.
- Fill glass with bubbly.
- Add 2-3 fresh or frozen raspberries.
Christmosas
Ingredients
- 2 Granny Smith apples, chopped
- 1 c. whole fresh cranberries
- 1 c. green grapes, halved
- 1 c. pomegranate seeds
- 1 c. sparkling grape juice1
- (750-ml.) bottle Champagne, Prosecco, or Cava
Instructions
- In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine apples, cranberries, grapes, and pomegranate seeds.
- Pour over sparkling grape juice and Champagne and stir well to serve.
