Whether you are staying home and doing an intimate Thanksgiving with your immediate family, hosting a Friendsgiving, or traveling home to be with loved ones, Thanksgiving will look different for a lot of people this year.
Normally my family all gets together – talking like 30 people, but due to the pandemic, we are staying home with just my immediate family. I am so sad because I LOVE Thanksgiving and getting a chance to see everyone, and of course all the food. Italian Thanksgivings are the best! We have appetizers, drinks, more appetizers, and then the meal, and then finish with dessert! If you are not rolling out of the place at the end of the night you did it wrong!
However, I am trying to stay positive and be thankful for what I have, and that my family is healthy enough to still be able to celebrate Thanksgiving.
I have put together a guide for y’all with 4 Thanksgiving day outfits that would be perfect for any Thanksgiving celebration!
4 Thanksgiving Day Outfit Ideas
*Thank you Chicwish for sponsoring this post!
Sweater + Corduroy Skirt
If you are still planning to dress up for Thanksgiving, this is the outfit for you. First of all talk about the color of this skirt! But my favorite part of this look is the sweater. I LOVE the dot detailing on the sleeves and the ruffle neck. This sweater could be dressed up like I did here, or be easily dressed down with a pair of jeans.
Throw on a pair of booties and a hat as the perfect accessories and you are ready for the feast!
Chunky Cardigan and Jeans
Can we talk about a statement sweater?! When I saw this on the Chicwish site, I knew it needed to be mine! But don’t worry if hot pink is not your thing, it comes in other colors! This is a heavy duty cardigan. It is very thick, and will be sure to keep you warm. I adore the bubble sleeves! Since the cardigan is so oversized and chunky, I would style it with something tight underneath, like I did with this bodysuit.
Leather Leggings + Cape Sweater
Looking for a way to be comfy, but still polished for Thanksgiving? Look no further I have the perfect outfit for you. I swear by these Spanx faux leather leggings. They are so flattering, comfy, and can be dressed up or down. These were made for Thanksgiving because they don’t even have a button, and that Spanx will hide your food baby – they just suck you in!
I paired them with this stunning cape sweater. I love how chic it is. It is a great length for leggings too because it covers the booty. It also comes in a pretty olive and rust color too. I also styled this look with skinny jeans and OTK boots, and it was also a great option!
Leopard Sweater + Booties
When in doubt, leopard print is the answer! It elevates any simple sweater, and can be styled so many ways. This oversized sweater is great for a holiday like Thanksgiving because you can eat all you want, unbutton your pants and no one will even know! The colors scream fall, and is made out of such a thick material, I was very impressed. I will be wearing this all winter long!
No matter what you are doing this Thanksgiving, just be grateful for everything you have! If you plan on not changing out of your pjs this Thanksgiving, or dressing up just for fun, it’s 2020 and the rules are out the window!
What are your plans this Thanksgiving!?
